The next step on your career path: an internship in Brighton!

What are your plans for 2020?

Make new friends

Improving your English is a great way to meet new people

Learning a new language allows you to communicate with more people, see things from a different perspective, or get a deeper understanding of another culture.

English may not be the most spoken language in the world, but it is the most common second language in the world! It is spoken by around 400 million people across the globe. Being able to speak English is not just about being able to communicate with native English speakers – if you want to speak to someone from another country, chances are that they will know English.

Think about your future

Build your future by developing your skills

Internships and work experiences are a great way to gain relevant industry experience and skills. They allow students and graduates to enter the work force and acquire valuable experience in a company. Often, it can be the deciding factor when you are applying for entry-level jobs, as your future employer can rest assured you can keep a job and have started to develop your own work ethics, even if the previous placement was in an unrelated field. Needless to say, whether it’s a short work experience or a longer internship, workplace experience is always viewed favourably by employers and can help you decide your future career.

Have fun

Enjoy the sun (by the sea)!

Brighton is a unique and inspiring place, as the city is known for its border-less judgement and free spirit. Brighton and Hove is a thriving area with lots to see and do. From the quirky cobbled streets in the Lanes to the famous Indian-style Royal Pavilion, the city has many different areas with different personalities, offering plenty to see and do for all its visitors.

Are you hoping to spend some sunny days on the beach? Or would you prefer people watching in a busy café in a cute neighborhood? Are you looking for some great night life, with pubs, clubs, and trendy restaurants? It doesn’t matter – Brighton has something for everyone!

It's time to be Bright-ON!

An internship or work placement in Brighton is a great opportunity to improve your English, while gaining work experience and enjoying Summer in a beautiful (and quirky!) seaside city on the southern coast of the UK, close to London.

Also known as “London by the sea”, Brighton is a cosmopolitan city. You are likely to meet open-minded people, with interesting and sometimes eclectic styles. With two big Universities full of international students, Brighton welcomes students just like you with arms wide open all year around.

We can guarantee a suitable placement, depending on your skill set, your level of English, and your personal objectives. Once you select your placement, we will do everything else: we will get everything set up with the company. We can also find you accommodation, and an English school, if you want the extra support. You can relax knowing that everything is taken care of.

What is an internship or work placement?

Internships are usually taken on by students during or right after specialized studies, and relate directly to the subjects being studied. In this type of placement, the idea is to learn more about your field as well as develop your skills.

A work experience, on the other hand, is a term used in a broader context, and has become a title for any form of participation in a working environment. A work experience is often more about getting work experience in general, and you would get involved in relatively entry level tasks to help support the business in a very practical way. We especially recommend work experiences to students who prefer or need to focus on improving their English skills while still having an international work experience to add to their CVs.
